Interplex manufactures APET sheet, cellulose acetate film, cellulose acetate granules, and Cellulose Acetate compounds, besides Cellulose Acetate Sheet with the proprietary co-extrusion technology of Rowland Inc, USA. With this Rowland co-extrusion technology, Interplex manufactures Cellulose Acetate Sheets, which can have 4 different layers or a 4-color effect on the sheet itself. These layers and colors can be positioned on the sheet in various ways so that the layers and colors will create a design pattern in the spectacle frame that is cut from the sheet.

PRX Range

PRX is a standard range of multi-layer co-extruded Cellulose Acetate Sheet manufactured from the highest quality raw materials.  PRX range has exceptional transparency and high gloss effect.

PRX Range is offered in a range of standard patterns and colours. They can also be offered as per customer specifications.

CX Range

CX is a standard economical range of co-extruded Cellulose Acetate Sheet offered for applications customers where transparency specifications can be balanced with cost considerations.

CX Range has similar standard mechanical specifications as PRX range, but is manufactured from standard and economical raw material, which has a lower transparency level than that of PRX.

Ultrex Range

Ultrex range is a new high performance range of co-extruded Cellulose Acetate Sheet with exceptional strength and mechanical properties having transparency and finish.  Ultrex is manufactured from a unique proprietary formulation developed by Interplex after extensive research and market trials.

Ultrex Range has been specifically developed for use in milling ultra-thin and lightweight spectacle frames.  Due such unique properties of Ultrex, these frames have exceptional strength and flexibility.

Ultrex provides the manufacturer and designer of fashion eyewear, the ideal material to create new ultra-thin models in line with current fashion trends, which would have been impossible with the traditional Cellulose Acetate Sheet.
