THERMOFORMED-SUNPAC PET PUNNETS

Clear rigid thermoformed PET punnet with separate base and lid. The punnet is manufactured from the best quality food grade rET raw material, and has the highest level of clarity and gloss. The punnet has a closure system that has been designed for ease of manipulation of the lid to allow for easy closing and at the same time allow for secure locking under dynamic transport conditions. The unique lid venting design has a high open area when viewed from the side, and gives the most effective air inflow through the lid of the punnet, even when the punnets are stacked on each other. The design gives efficient cooling of the contents during the pre-cooling stage and during the subsequent refrigeration in storage and transportation.

For 500gms packing of grapes, strawberries and other soft fruit, which can be transported and stored through the cold chain at temp of minus 20′ C and finally displayed directly on the Retailer’s refrigerated shelf.

The venting system has 12 slots in the lid and additional 12 slots in the base with a high open area, giving the most effective air inflow through the punnet, even when the punnets are stacked on each other or placed in an inverted position. The design provides for efficient cooling of the contents during the pre-cooling stage and during subsequent refrigeration in storage and transportation.
