CA (Cellulose Acetate) Granules are a recyclable performance biopolymer with a unique combination of mechanical properties, chemical resistance and transparency, and are manufactured from Cellulose Acetate (CA) Flake. The basic raw material for CA Flakes is Cellulose, a natural biochain structure derived from wood pulp and cotton linters, which is modified with Acetic Acid to make the biopolymer.

Suncel is offered in IG Grade for general purpose injection moulding applications. IG Grade is offered in MSflow designation in a standard range of colours. IG Grade in MSFlow gives the best combination of processing and mechanical properties for general moulding applications.

Suncel is offered in other grades with a range of specifications and flow designations. Suncel can be offered in flow designations from S (highest) to H3(lowest).S or Higher flows will have better impact strength but lower surface hardness and stiffness and vice versa. Interplex can offer Suncel in grades for specialized injection moulding and extrusion applications and in different colours as required by customers.
